American Black Journal – The state of Black Real Estate Development in Detroit

DEGC Executive Vice President of Economic Development and Investment Services Kenyetta Hairston-Bridges recently joined American Black Journal host Stephen Henderson and BridgeDetroit for a town hall focused on "Building Black Development."

Hairston-Bridges and other panelists discussed issues that can plague black real estate development in Detroit, such as lack of access to capital and lack of premier development sites.

During their segment, the panelists talked about available financial and mentoring support, plus current development needs in Detroit's neighborhoods.
